What is the default code on Stash Proof TSA locks, and do the bags come with keys?
All Stash Proof bags use TSA-approved combination locks and do not include physical keys. The locks are factory set to a default code of 000. We recommend changing the combination before first use and testing the new code several times before closing the bag.
How do I reset the TSA lock on my Stash Proof bag?
Set the dials to the current opening code. Press and hold the reset button using a pen. Turn the dials to your new combination. Release the reset button to set the new code. Test the new combination multiple times before locking the bag. The lock must be open in order to reset it.
Are Stash Proof smell-proof bags water resistant?
Yes. Our smell-proof bags are made with water-resistant exterior materials and feature water-resistant zippers. They can handle light rain and splashes but are not designed to be submerged in water.
Are all Stash Proof smell-proof bags lined with carbon, and do they block odors?
Yes. All Stash Proof smell-proof bags are activated carbon lined and are designed to be smell proof and help contain odors.
Are all Stash Proof vacuum seal bags 5.5 mil thick?
Yes. Our vacuum seal bags are manufactured at 5.5 mil thickness for added durability.
Do Stash Proof vacuum seal bags work with all vacuum seal machines?
Stash Proof vacuum seal bags are compatible with most standard external suction vacuum seal machines.
What is the difference between All Black, All Clear, and Black/Clear vacuum seal bags?
All Black bags are fully opaque and help block light exposure. All Clear bags provide easy visibility of contents. Black/Clear bags offer visibility on one side while maintaining a clean, professional look. All options offer the same 5.5 mil thickness and sealing performance.

Yes. Our vacuum seal bags are made from BPA-free, food-grade materials and are SGS tested to ensure safety and quality compliance.
Are your vacuum seal bags safe for sous vide and boiling?
Yes. Our 5.5 mil BPA-free vacuum seal bags are safe for sous vide cooking and boiling within recommended temperature ranges. The 5.5 mil thickness provides added durability compared to thinner bags, helping them hold up better during heat exposure and extended cooking.
